Regina Black Lennox is the Executive Director of the Satell Family Foundation and Director of Philanthropy for Progressive Business Publications, a diversified executive information, resource and training provider serving businesses, government and nonprofits. The company, founded by UConn Alumnus, philanthropist and business leader Ed Satell ’57, is deeply committed to Corporate Social Responsibility. She oversees the mission and implementation of both the family foundation & the corporate charitable trust activities. These provide funding and hands-on leadership for more than 35 initiatives with 22 nonprofits, focused on disadvantaged children, young people of promise, community and civic organizations, and cancer and energy research. Most recently, Regina became Secretary of the Satell Institute, a prominent and active Think Tank for Corporate Social Responsibility.
As consultant, speaker and presenter, Regina has also worked extensively with Faith educational institutions and nonprofit organizations providing leadership development, facilitation, staff training, retreats, motivational seminars, mediation, and conflict resolution services. Some of her best-known presentations and articles include: The Language of Leadership, Ways to Incite & Excite; Stay Proactive—Not Reactive; Communicate to Create; Called, Challenged and Gifted; and Implementing Change Powerfully and Successfully.
She serves on a number of boards and advisory councils and has been honored numerous times for her volunteer activities. Regina and her husband Bill, married almost 40 years and both avid and extensive travelers, are the grateful parents of three extraordinary grown daughters and delight in their two fabulous grandchildren.
