Kim Sayles is an Officer-Technician Counter Sniper (Office of Protective Operations/Special Operations Division) with the U.S. Secret Service. She has served in this capacity since 2010, when she successfully became the first woman to hold this position.

 

Prior to her role as a Counter Sniper, Kim held various assignments to include those within the Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information and as an officer at the White House branch from 2003-2010.

 

Prior to her employment with the U.S. Secret Service, Kim worked with the women’s basketball program at the University of Kansas as an administrative assistant for Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Coach Marian Washington from 2002-2003.

 

Kim received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and American law from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Kim was a standout athlete on the women’s basketball and softball teams while at Trinity.
