Frank Waltman is executive vice president, head of product management for Virtus Investment Partners, Inc. In addition to leading the company’s product management and development activities, he provides strategic leadership for Virtus’ relationships with its affiliated investment managers and unaffiliated subadvisers. He also has oversight responsibility for the firm’s investment operations and information technology functions.

Mr. Waltman joined Virtus, then known as Phoenix Investment Partners (PXP), in 1990, and advanced through increasingly responsible positions, including as vice president, sales administration, for the Private Client Group; chief administrative officer of the Private Client Group; and senior vice president, product development and management. He was named to his current position in 2008. He has also held positions in the asset management industry at Prudential Retirement, Shearson Lehman Brothers and National Securities & Research Corporation.

In addition to his role in product management, Mr. Waltman also serves as executive vice president for Virtus Mutual Funds and as a director of Virtus Global Funds, PLC.

Mr. Waltman holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Hofstra University and an M.B.A. in finance from Fordham University.
