Bob Seelert is CEO Emeritus at Saatchi & Saatchi, following a twenty year career with this worldwide communications firm.  He initially was recruited to the company as Chief Executive in 1995, subsequent to the ouster of the founding brothers by their Board.  The company was in a tumultuous situation, but Bob revitalized the operations, and then led the merger of the company into the Publicis Groupe of France at a five-fold increase in share price, where he served as a Director for six years.

Bob began his business career at General Foods Corporation, a Dow 30 company at the time and a leading consumer packaged goods enterprise.  He spent twenty-three years in a series of progressively increasing responsibilities, culminating as the Chief Executive of the Worldwide Coffee and International Foods Sector.

Between these two extended tenures, Bob completed turnaround assignments as Chief Executive at Topco Associates and at Kayser-Roth Corporation.

In 2009, Bob wrote a book, Start With the Answer, which detailed “lessons learned” that prompted success for him, both in life and his business career.

Bob is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School.
