Barbara Brooks is Vice President, Center for Professional Excellence, for Prudential Annuities. She is responsible for developing and driving the strategic direction of the learning organization for sales, distribution, product and marketing in parallel with the overall goals of Annuities sales and distribution. While at Prudential, Barbara’s team has won numerous APEX awards as well as the prestigious 2013 Brandon Hall Gold Medal for Best Program for Sales Training and Performance.

Barbara joined the Annuities organization in April 2009. Prior to her current position, Barbara led her own talent management consulting firm where she specialized in the design, development and delivery of training and recruiting programs for financial services sales organizations. She was also vice president at MetLife, where she introduced recruitment and training programs that increased productivity and improved retention rates for agents and sales managers.

Barbara has both an undergraduate and master’s degree in speech pathology from Bloomsburg University and The Ohio State University, respectively. In addition, she holds a certification in organization design & development from The William Alanson White Institute.
